Any Branch - Any Service

Specific “war-time” service is not a requirement to become a member. Any baptized Catholic currently serving in the Armed Forces or discharged under honorable conditions from any component of the U.S. Armed Forces and has served on Active Duty for a period of 90 days or longer (includes training time for Reserves and National Guard) is eligible for membership in the Catholic War Veterans (CWV).

Family of a veteran? The Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary is open to baptized Catholic men and women, related within 2 degrees, to a veteran or currently serving Armed Forces member of ANY faith. We were the first VSO to open Auxiliary membership to men.

Supporting Community since 1935

The Catholic War Veterans & Auxiliary exemplify a steadfast commitment to community support through various initiatives and programs. From organizing food drives to volunteering at local shelters, our members actively engage in hands-on efforts to address the needs of the community. Additionally, we provide assistance to veterans in navigating benefits, offer educational scholarships, and participate in patriotic events that honor our nation’s heroes. Through our collective dedication and service-oriented approach, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families within our communities, embodying the values of faith, service, and compassion.
