Located on South Six Street, one block from the old Virginia Armory. Boyle & Gamble of Richmond, Virginia manufactured many types of swords, knives and bayonets during the Civil War for the Confederacy. This featured Staff Officers Sword has counterguard containing the letters CS on a ribbon, encircled by a wreath, which in turn is surmounted by a star. The blade is etched with the Confederate Battle Flag, Floral Designs, and letters CSA present. An outstanding condition Staff & Field Sword manufactured in Richmond, Virginia for the Confederacy.
