Excavated Plain Rectangular Pewter, Confederate Waist Belt Plate, Dimensions: 52X77 mm. ca. 1861-1865. Mullinax reference, indicates a quantity of this pattern were issued to the Army of Tennessee and other Western Confederate Units. As with early excavated artifacts, this example is in a perfect state of original preservation. Hook configuration of three flattened copper wire belt hooks soldered on.
